Sarah Arthur, ANU, is visiting CAS and gives a lecture on “Digital Literacy in the 21st Century” on 9 January 2020, 12-1:30pm in Lecture Room S60, Philosophikum.

Sarah Arthur is a PhD candidate in the Research School of Humanities and the Arts at the Australian National University. She is also an experienced primary school teacher who has worked across various sectors of school education in Australia over the last two decades. Her PhD is investigating digital literacy in the context of the broader history of literacy and orality, asking which skills and understandings are needed for learning, communication, and social participation in the contemporary digital age.
